Ig. Maryanto, S.Pd said that the ceremony was held based on Presidential Decree No.24 Year 2016 on Pancasila Birthday. Also circulated Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendi Number 34479 / MPK.A / TU / 2017 regarding Birthday Celebration of Pancasila 2017 dated May 29, 2017 "Regarding the ceremony held by SMA Xaverius as circular of Mendikbud, including singing I Indonesia song, I Pancasila which is the creation of Mr. Ir. Widodo ".
Although the red Thursday is supposed to be a holiday, the ceremony is still held as a form of appreciation towards Pancasila and also a form of love towards the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
